IGN has always been one of the biggest supporters of Zack & Wiki since the beginning, even starting a “Buy Zack & Wiki” hype-campaign. On the eve of “Z-Dub’s” release, IGN finished reviewing the game just in time to give it a whopping 9 out of 10.

We’ve been running the Buy Zack & Wiki in 2007 Campaign since we first discovered the game’s appeal and now that we’ve finally quested for all of Barbaros’ treasure, we can definitively state that Z-Dub belongs in your library.

Indeed, Z-Dub presents some of the smartest and most rewarding challenges in any adventure game we’ve ever played and it’s for this very reason that you will appreciate the title.

Not only did they have kind words for the game, to further stress their campaign, they dedicated their latest IGN Toons to Zack & Wiki as well.

Just a pointer to a Kotaku story repeating what everybody here at Capcom HQ already knows: solving the Zack and Wiki puzzles is really, really fun—especially in a group.

As pointed out by Kotaku, GoNintendo has a post showing off the Zack & Wiki TGS 07 trailer. Why should you watch it? “Because,” as Kotaku’s Luke Plunkett says, “after watching this there’s no way you can escape the impending awesomeness.”

Gaming blog Kotaku managed to catch up to the very busy Hironobu Takeshita, producer of Zack & Wiki and the recently announced We Love Golf!, during the Tokyo Game Show. Takeshita-san lends some insight into interesting topics such as how the name for Zack & Wiki was arrived at, and the fact that he hasn’t actually played any golf!

To start he said that Treasure Island Z was out because they couldn’t secure the international right to the name because of the book. They went through almost two hundred other names before settling on Zak and Wiki.

And last but certainly not least, it’s the new Devil May Cry 4 Trailer!

GameTrailers.com has up a new video featuring a Japanese family playing Zack & Wiki for the first time. Their reactions are great, and really shows how much fun Zack & Wiki can be for a whole group of people, regardless who’s actually playing.

The Zack & Wiki site has been updated with a game trailer, as well as 5 new fun activities for all ages to enjoy. There’s the Hidden Bunnies game, where you search for bunnies hidden within the picture. Complete an image of Zack by playing the Connect the Dots game, or color in your own version of Zack & Wiki with Quest for Color. Then find your way out of the Treasure Maze. Finally, you can also print out your very own Pirate Hat!
