While the numbers aren’t in yet, the release of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd in Japan had gamers forming long lines in order to get their hands on the game.

Japan’s Famitsu is reporting that die hard Monster Hunter fans started lining up at one store as early as 5:30am, and by the time the store opened, the line was 140 eager gamers strong. Some were after just the game, while others no doubt were after the Monster Hunter Portable 2nd and “Champaign Gold” PSP package combo.
