Hey All,
This is actually Seth masquerading as Brian, to let you know that the Digital Blog is being rolled into the mighty unified Capcom blog, which lives HERE:
blog.capcom.com
There’s actually two really sweet new posts up just today, including the first of a long series from David Sirlin detailing the balance changes, as well as a BIG one from Rey Jimenez on everyone’s favorite subject: the art!
Please update your bookmarks, feeds, etc., accordingly. We’ll be maintaining this page for archival purposes, but all new info will live on blog.capcom.com, with updates also posted on www.capcom-unity.com as usual.
best,
Seth

You may remember a while back we asked for your suggestions for Achievements (Xbox 360) for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.
We went through the massive list of suggestions, all (well, most) of which were great, picked our favorites, and sent them to the technical guys on the dev team to figure out which ones were actually “trackable.”
We got the feedback from the dev team, and now we have the poll up on our forums.
Voting will be closed October 1st, so everyone has 2 weeks plus a weekend to vote.
Once we have a winner, the person (or people if multiple people had the same suggestion) who suggested the Achievement will have his/her alias appear in the credits of the game.

Face the challenge!!! Today until 1PM PST Capcom will be hosting and joining matches of Puzzle Fighter on Xbox Live, as advertised on Capcom Unity earlier this week. I will be playing, and so will a host of other Puzzle Fighter pros in the office.
Look for the gamertag “BadBoodah77” in X’ mode and enter the fray!

We just created a brand new area in our forums for the discussion of all of our XLA and PSN titles. Namely, Puzzle Fighter HD, Street Fighter HD, Rocketmen, Talisman, with more on the horizon. Of course you can still discuss SF HD Remix in our SF forums. But this new area will be for the discussion of all of our download titles.

I’ve put the link for both the XLA/PSN titles forum and the Street Fighter forum in the description box to the right, so you can always know how to find it.

You may have seen some of our Comic-Con and EVO coverage over on Capcom-Unity already. But here are a few pictures of the Toyota Yaris at the EVO West finals at Comic-Con a few weeks ago. Toyota is a sponsor of the EVO 2007 Championship Series, and we lent our Puzzle Fighter characters to be put on one of the cars itself. The Yaris features Dan on the front, Akuma on the back, Ryu and Chun-Li on one side, and Ken and Sakura on the other side. These photos were taken by James “Chensor” Chen (thanks!). He took a lot of pictures of the car and the EVO championships. Below are just a few shots of the car from his gallery.

I closed Friday’s post with “Check back here on Monday morning to make your voice heard. wink wink,” and I’ve been watching people speculate in the comments all weekend.
Yes, “make your voice heard” was supposed to be a hint. I don’t know how some people went from “make your voice heard” to “OMFG they’re announcing SF4FTWOMGBBQ!”… Wishful thinking, I guess. I can’t blame them. Anyway, moving on…

Here’s the deal. I’m working on putting together some Dashboard themes and a gamer picture pack for the Xbox 360 to go along with the launch of Puzzle Fighter (which is coming very soon). I have one theme complete and I’m working on the other.
But for the gamer pic pack, I’m not sure who to include. The themes are like wallpapers, but when you use a gamer pic in your profile, it actually represent you. It says something about you, or shows what games you like. Everyone would probably like Ken or Ryu, but there’s room for more and I want to leave it up to you who makes the cut.
There are basically 11 characters in the game, and I can put up to 5 images in a single pack. But I thought, why not ask you guys what I should do? You tell me which characters you want in the pack, and I’ll include them.
Here are the characters:
Akuma
Chun Li
Dan
Devilot
Donovan
Felicia
HsienKo
Ken
Morrigan
Ryu
Sakura
BTW, if you don’t know what gamer pics are, they are the icon that goes in your gamercard, your profile. Here’s my gamercard. As you can see, I’m sporting the guy from Mass Effect as my icon right now:

So, who are your favorite Puzzle Fighter characters from that list? Who do you want to put in your gamer profile to represent you?
Just vote in the comments below. I’ll be monitoring the comments, and Friday afternoon (6/22) I’ll tally it up.

EDIT:
I’ve looked at the votes, and I know what I want to do with the gamer pics, so now it’s a matter of clearing it with a few departments internally. Once I get a firm answer, I’ll announce what I’m doing with the gamer pics. I also have 2 Dashboard themes done and I’m working on a third. They’re pretty sweet, and I’ll give a preview of them here on the blog before they hit Marketplace.
This blog will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the development of all of Capcom's downloadable titles, and exclusive content you won't find anywhere else, at least until it's picked up by all the gaming news sites.
